THANKSGIVING DAY 2025

This year's Thanksgiving Day on November 27 was celebrated by the third- and first-year students. A group of 3F with Olena Mozharovska prepared interesting information and competitions for the first courses. Students of groups 1KІ3 and 1M participated in the cognitive and dance battles. Students guessed the words associated with traditional dishes that are prepared for this holiday, demonstrated their awareness of answering questions about Thanksgiving. They thanked in English for all the good things in life, participated in Quiz Time -Thanksgiving Trivia, the verbal relay of Thanksgiving Word Race to test their knowledge of the thematic vocabulary.
Halloween in Romania
1TC group met and celebrated Halloween 2025 in Romania. In order to get acquainted with the traditions of the celebration, they visited the world-famous Bran Castle (Count Dracula's Castle), the city of Brasov with its rich culture, Cantacuzino Castle - the filming location of the TV series "Wednesday", as well as the capital of Romania, Bucharest. The impressions from the trip are incredible. We share them!
Technical college through the eyes of students
On October 6 and 9, thematic excursions "Our technical college" took place in groups of 1TC, 1KІ3, 1M. Students prepared a description of the locations in English, namely: technical laboratories, a library, a sports hall, an assembly hall, classrooms and a college sports ground. They not only presented prepared materials, but also answered questions, searched for new words, guessed the place and location in college by description. Such thematic excursions make it possible to motivate students to study a foreign language, strengthen and develop interdisciplinary connections, and also form pride and love for their educational institution and their future profession.
Back to College
The first English classes in groups 1KI3, 1M and 1TK of Vinnytsia Technical Applied College took place on 5 and 8 September in the format of a quest game called ‘English in the world’. The introduction to the teachers and the group took place in the form of a game called ‘Circle’, where students had the opportunity to get acquainted and ask each other questions.
Year of English at our College
The academic year is over. During this time, many events took place at the college. But the most striking event was “The Year of English at the College”. Foreign language teachers held 35 modern educational events related to the English language. These are not only modern open lessons and English language olympiads but also various quizzes, quests, master classes, games, competitions, educational activities in English, even a trip to the UK. We have a victory in the contest "World of languages and languages of the world". Students and teachers of our college took online English language courses “ReallyEnglish” as part of the English4Ukraine project. Yes, the year was productive, creative and interesting. We are grateful to all the foreign language teachers.
